How the Snohomish Law Group Legal Fees Work
Lawyers typically use three different pricing methods – by the hour, by the case, or on contingency. We don’t charge by the hour, because this almost always hurts the client’s financial interests.
Criminal Defense Cases
We determine the cost to you by the case. We review the severity of the charges, your prior criminal history, and your geographic location. (We’ve had clients hire us from outside Puget Sound based upon our reputation.)
Once we quote the price, you can be assured your legal fees won’t be any higher than the amount we have agreed upon. You will need to pay this amount up front.

Personal Injury Cases
The Snohomish Law Group works on a contingency basis for personal injury cases. You can be assured that this provides additional motivation for me to work for the highest possible award for you. If I win the case for you, you agree to pay me one-third of the final award. Regardless of how long it takes to pursue your claim, you don’t have to pay me if I’m unsuccessful.
You can choose a good attorney, or you can choose a cheap attorney, but beware. It’s rare to find both in one person.
We are not the cheapest law firm in the Seattle area, yet former clients will tell you that the Snohomish Law Group has given them the best VALUE because we use our experience to deliver results.
